anyone having problems doing this on line, I've got well on with it when twice its says timed out and im not slow by any means
could it it be a busy time ?

You haven't said what you are trying to do - apply for a new licence, renew an old licence, add a new group etc. I've only renewed a licence because of time-expiration and I've never had any problems.

renew my licence just got reminder today even though it runs out in September
im certainly not slow on doing things on comps etc
ill try later on

You can renew 90 days in advance, so you should be able to do it now. As you said, try later on.

I renewed mine online last Tuesday, received my new one in the post on Friday. No problems.
It does warn you to have everything ready at hand as it will time out. I had my passport, NI number, and old driving licence next to me as those are the numbers asked for. I wasn’t timed out at all.
My old one was due for renewal in September too.

I found it OK - which means that I got to the end
( so it was better than Halifax internet banking)

thanks, my browser is brave but tried on chrome both the same
and yes cleared my data from both before trying again
i'm clued up on comps, i guess it could have been a busy time line wise
