I've used the tag band: it was a bit tricky to manoeuvre but it worked. II can't speak for the rest.

//I would drop into Boots to use their skin tag remover if you really must have it removed......expensive I think.
Fatticus, the fee is for the training and experience to enable one to remove the skin tag, not the time it takes.//
Lol, I daresay there are many carrying out all sorts of procedures on the High Street on lips etc who ought to have their ‘qualifications’ pored over.
I’m sure even you’d admit you don’t exactly need to go to Med school to remove a skin tag without an anaesthetic.

//Hi, yansee. Hope you are doing ok :)
Fatticus, previous med history includes heart bypass so I think yansee would still be on a blood thinner. Definitely not suitable for cutting off with scissors.//
Best yansee presents to their GP in that case where a full medical history can be gleaned?
Or provides a concise and full one when asking advice from strangers on an Internet forum?

I have twisted mine as far as it goes one way, and then twisted it back as far as it goes the other! This seems to cut off the blood supply, and it shortly dries up and falls off. Bear in mind that skin tags on the neck and under the arms is often a sign of type two diabetes.
My sister went on a ketogenic diet, and hers just vanished.
