Downing St Prove 2 Cabinet Ministers Lied

No 10 admitted that Johnson was aware of some misconduct allegations against Chris Pincher before he appointed him deputy chief whip in the February reshuffle.

Yet only this morning we had this.

So either the 2 Cabinet ministers are lying or Downing St have revised what they told the Fanilies minister only hours ago?
Do any of them really know what’s going on? Or is it more lies and revised statements from Downing St? Is their Press Officer in reality a clown who couldn’t organise a pillow fight in a dormitory?

Ah, another one who thinks that accusations are proof of guilt, no court required and the alleged miscreant should be shot a dawn (figuatvley speaking), I'm guessing you are another one who favours trial by media too.

The problem with all this is all that anyone was aware of is ALLEGATIONS.

Or do you think someone's career should be stalled or stopped because of ALLEGATIONS?

Quince said he has been given "categorical assurance" from
Number 10 that Boris Johnson was "not aware of any serious

In contrast to the revised statement thus.
But he said the PM was
"aware of media reports that others had seen over the years and some allegations that were either resolved or did not progress to a
formal complaint" so sought advice from his propriety and ethics team before his appointment.

Maybe from the same ethics adviser who recently resigned and will not be replaced?
Nothing to do with trial my media, pure spin and deflection by a PM who is renowned for being liberal with the truth and sketchy on the details.
Who will he blame this time with his ‘nobody told me’ stance?

Their line is that Johnson knew Pincher's reputation ("Pincher by name ...") but not of any specific reason why he had that reputation. Perhaps he should have found out?

"Groping" is not a big deal to Johnson (or for that matter his "I grabbed her by the ***y" buddy, Trump). And having a sycophant on his side that he'd given a job to where many wouldn't was obviously more valuable to him than the risk posed by a mere groper. The problem is the wicked booze has led to quite an early downfall and quite a problem for Boris now ...

need in charge of things - entertaining characters rather than people with integrity.

Giving Pincher the Whip job in February was clearly a mistake. He had resigned before after inappropriate behaviour to the olympic rower. And last Wednesday he made a similar offence in a private members club, and resigned again.

If Boris had accepted the resignation saying he had made a mistake in appointing him in February (which is obvious) then not much would have been said. Instead they weave a deception, and make false statements which quickly unravel and then No.10 is engulfed in another lying scandal.
Admit the truth right away, and move on. An error in recruiting four months ago isn’t going to do much harm. But trying to deny the error by being economical with the truth, just piles on the impression of them being untrustworthy and dishonest.
