licensing laws for clubs

A 15year old was behind the bar at my local football Club.
Isn't it legal for a 15 year old to be behind the bar at all let alone serving?
what would happen if the authorities were to find out?

I could be wrong, but I think it's legal if there is an adult there supervising him - much as in a supermarket where the checkout boy/girl has to ask a supervisor/older cashier before selling alcohol.

There is no minimum age to serve alcohol in a private members' club. All that is required is that there is an adult present to control the sale of alcohol.

Correct. Most recently dealt with on 27th August 2006 under Jobs and Education. There is now effectively no minimum age for serving behind a bar. Its all about supervision and authority
