I'd just like to wish all muslims here on AB, if any, a very Happy Ramadan. I have a few muslim colleagues at work and I have wished them the same.

In the spirit of fairness and ecumenanism, sundown last Friday, September 22 was also Rosh Hashanah for all Jews. One of the most important observations of the year.
You could wish them L'shanah tovah tikatev v'taihatem ("May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year") and in turn you may have been offered apple slices dipped in honey... At sundown the Shofar (a ram's horn) would have inititated the celebration of the head of the year or New Year...Shalom! l'shanah haba'ah Yirushalayim!
