Does anyone know of a site which has a the first few words of the first ever top of the pops presented by Jimmy Savile 1st January 1964. I believe there is a site where these first words can be listened to.

I've done a search but been unsuccesful. Unless they have an audio tape recording, the BBC state:-
"Sadly, the first ever show is lost to history forever."

If you go to the other quizzing site you will find that Redcard has accepted that there are websites with 2 different answers. He has implied that he will accept either answer.
No he's changed his mind now and is only accepting one answer as he says somewhere there is a clip to watch
