Has anyone actually managed to read this whole book?? I’ve started it 3 times and got a couple of chapters in before giving up! It’s just so ….wordy!! A sentence that could take say 15 words he uses 50,and in the end it gets so complicated that you forget what the sentence was even about! It was bought as a present tho and I really do want to try and finish it but god it’s hard work!

But some readers love to browse through long descriptions. To me, a sky is a sky; if I'm told it's a mackerel sky, then I get it, but some like to read the loving detailed descriptions of mackerel colours etc.
