Whatsapp For Ipad.

I have WhatsApp on both my iPad and my phone, but 95% of the time I use it on my iPad. Yet when it did an update overnight the other day it has deleted WhatsApp, even though it’s been on there for god knows how long! Now when I try to re-install it it either says ‘not compatible with iPad’ or it asks for payment! I’ve tried various versions from App Store and none work. Anyone got a version on an iPad that works??

WhatsApp on an iPad is just a web version rather than an app so is just a bookmark, just search WhatsApp and follow the instructions to scan the QR code

Which iOS version have you got on your iPad? WhatsApp Messenger is no longer supported on iOS 10 and 11. You must have iOS 12 or above for WhatsApp to install and function.

^^^ Actually, having just checked that a bit more thoroughly, it seems that Fitzer is correct. Although the actual WhatsApp Messenger app will run on iPhones, it can't be used on iPads. So you'll need to use the web-based version:
