I'll get the Chianti and fava beans.
There are two alternatives, underdone or overcooked. Take your pick.

There might be the makings of a Channel 5 programme here:
Guess who's coming as dinner?
What a waste of water and just when we are being asked to be careful and not waste the stuff.
Definately over boiled.
Hook a barrel up to the drain with some chopped veg in and you may have a hearty soup.....or at least some stock
You do have some revolting ideas DT.

Andrés didn't think much of the original post, either.
tongue in cheek, Lady J......
Well thanks for the BA I wasn't expecting that. Just to explain though--
I vaguely remember a case in a Florida prison about 8 years ago. One of the inmates was locked in the shower and the water turned up to a very high temperature . He was locked in for about 3 hours. He died and the injuries he sustained were horrific. Maybe it will still be on Google. This post brought it back to me.
Brought this scene from Breaking Bad to mind;

sick sandie wonders, whilst right thinking ABers rave - - - official

OK - the water aint hot enough - you scald above around 38'C
so with a sensible shower you would never cook

The horrific injuries from a shower at 50'C would be on a par with sunburn or - burns, and involves body reaction

there are instances of epileptic patients falling into a fire, and literally cooking their limbs. Amputation - post fit they are deeply unconscious.

er that is about it. havent thought about it much - the above is from an old style pathology course
saucy sandie bubbles about burns and outrages right thinking ABers - official

complainers banned ! official - this is how AB is meant to work explains spare ed

For me, the horror of this was that the chap was mentally ill. He'd been put in the shower by prison staff, and left there as punishment after defecating in his cell and smearing excrement on himself.

Prison staff were cleared of any wrongdoing. That doesn't seem right to me.
