Maigret: The Madman Of Vervac

I just watched this classic episode from the best Maigret – Rupert Davies. I always watch the credits on these old programmes. I didn't see a credit for the actor who played the madman, Rivaud's father. There was a credit for "Girl", who I don't even remember being in the programme. Do you know who played the madman? I tried a Maigret Forum, but I couldn't see how to contact the site.

Read that the story is based upon, "The Madman of Bergerac" and in that, Dr Rivaud's father is named as Samuel Meyer.

There is a character named only as Samuel in the Maigret version and he is played by Eric Elliott.

Thanks to both of you. I don't think that Rivaud's father was named in the TV version. But, once you know that his name was Samuel Meyer (Rivaud changed his name to distance himself from his father) then the credits give the name. Btw, it was a bit far-fetched for Rivaud to kill his father. Couldn't he have just had him put into an asylum? Many episodes of Maigret end up with nobody going on trial. And why change the place in the title from Bergerac to Vervac? No such place on Google Maps, but Mauriac, where Maigret got off his train, does exist.
