...the busom of the people? It seems no time at all since she was villified as a marriage breaking adulteress.
She's just celebrated her 75th birthday.
Will you join me in wishing her a happy birthday?

What on earth could that possibly mean?//
it means: that as the pillar under the Pont du Neuf Bridge hurtled towards them, in the fatal car, her final thought were "my poor babies, who will look after them now?"
[ laving aside: not that jerk of a father they have]

Isn’t it amazing how any criticism of Camilla brings out the Smear-Di Brigade in force. Either to create a smoke-screen or to promote the principle that two wrongs make a right.
Diana was too inexperienced to recognise just how dysfyunctional Charlie was. When asked on air if he loved her he professed not to know what that meant. What a dreadful thing to say in front of his newly-affianced to whom no doubt he had professed his love. She should have smelt a rat straight away.
Then when it comes to her infidelity, what was she supposed to do since Charlie was obviously too exhausted and too disinclined after tampon-duty to satisfy her.

> Dating isn't marriage. The baby machine that was to produce future monarchs needed to be unsullied.
OK, so as you describe it ...
1) Charles dated Camilla and had "romantic liaisons" (aka bonks) with her before either of them were married. He could not marry her because she had bonked somebody else before him.
2) Camilla then married APB and yet she and Charles continued said romantic liaisons.
3) Charles then married Diana (eight years later now) and he and Camilla continued laising (bonking)
4) Diana, virginal before Charles, produces William and Harry.
5) Years later, Charles and Diana divorce.
6) The same year they divorce, Diana dies horribly ...
7) A little while later, Charles then marries Camilla who he's always loved but could not marry ... until after a virgin had produced his children.
And you wonder why the Royal Family is, to use one of PP's words, a right royal foo???!!! Star crossed lovers my backside.
But still a happy birthday ...
