Does he like old bikes? I don't ride, but my granddad had a BSA with sidecar for grandma & they took it everywhere :-)

Not so keen on historic bikes, I preferred ones that would start when asked and not require a full engine-rebuild every 100 miles.

Last two bikes were a Honda 1000XL Varadero (comfy and slow) and then a Kawasaki Z1000SX (horribly fast).

You need to go to a monocly maker and get measured
Every monocle is different
so your eye socket has to be the right shape
and presumably you take in the prescription

and the fella lardee dahs and makes one for YOU !
and you get a FREE monocle pouch which looks like a sovereign keep-safe and just about costs as much too - hur hur hur
