vey slight flicker

I have noticed that when I start up my new laptop the desktop slightly flickers, ever so slightly about 3 times, for abot 10 seconds then its fine.

it doesnot flicker on and off just a very slight flicker. I think it may be doing it when the machine is loading up the startup items and thus using power from the battery. Can this be the case? Or is it the screen warming up?

I have the same problem on my easynote. Dont worry about it, its the screen and drivers configuring itself. nothing to worry about.
