What is the foodstuff the Americans call s'mores?

Two graham crackers with a marshmallow and chocolate in between, heated over a campfire.

mmm you can buy ready made ones of course that dont need utting over a campfire lol. theyre looovely.

In Scotland we had smores by toasting marshmallows over the campsite and squeexing them between 2 hobnobs - chocolate or plain ordinary

Graham Crackers
Toasted Marshmellows (still very hot)
Half of a Hershey's Chocolate Bar
Put it all together and squish it in time for the marshmello to melt the chocolate.

You can make them in the oven, take the graham crackers put them on a cookie sheet or casserole dish, put a piece of chocolate and then the marshmellow, then another piece of chocolate put in oven till marshmellow starts to puff a little, then take out and put graham cracker on top, serve immediately. they are good, but not as good as doing it with the campfire.
