On the flat racing racecards you sometimes see 1 or more of these letters after the horses name;
B ,P, H, T . I know c/d=coarse and distance winner, bf=beaten favourite but what do the other 4 letters signify. thank you in advance

Headgear

h - hood

b - blinkers (if being worn for a first or second time a 1 or 2 will be beside the letter)

p - (sheepskin) cheekpieces

t - tongue-tie

v - visor

e - eye hood

Ht - hood and tongue-tie

e/c - eyecover

e/s - eyeshield
