Presents For A Lost Friends Children

I recently managed to contact one of my old lost friend. We lost contact for 20 years and only recently got to talk on the phone. My friend has children and we wants to buy them some sort of gift when we meet up next week. What sort of things we should buy for my male friend and his daughters (10 and 14 years old).
Any suggestion is welcomed.

For a 14yo girl though, I think that I'd be honest and say to her, "I've not got a clue about what girls of your age might like but here's a gift card for Matalan, so that you can treat yourself to something nice to wear".

I'm not sure I would try to buy gifts for young people I don't know. Just rekindly the friendship with the adult, get to know everyone and if you remain in touch, buy them some gifts at Christmas.

I got the impression from OCN's post that the old friend has indicated that it would be appreciated if OCN could bring something for the youngsters.

Seems odd to give children you don't know gifts. Your friend should be happy enough to see you and if you appear with gifts, it may make him feel uncomfortable. Why would you bring gifts to a reunion? Think about it, I'm sure you will come to the same conclusion that gifts are not necessary at this stage of your reunion.

How about getting them a voucher for restaurant? E.g. Pizza Express, TGI, Harvester, Toby Carvery..
