Either ,, I don’t think there’s a bad place in the Dales Zac
used to go regularly, being at school up the valley. Used to have good 'country' food.....and desserts and one of those places that keep their staff for years and years.
you can't beat great britain, best country in the world.
How many countries have you visited Fraser?
Or lived in, Tilly....is what I wondered. I can only compare life in three.
If I were to pick my favourite place, it would be somewhere remote in the Scottish Highlands or on Mull. To see the sea (or water) and mountains everyday would be wonderful. But Mr BM doesn't like Scotland, so we are a bit stuffed there.

I think he would happily go to Tenerife (the remoter parts, not the touristy parts), but I do not think I could live there full time. I kind of like sweet english country villages, with thatched cottages and roses round the door and combines blocking the road in the summer and mosquitos off the pond and the roads being impassable in winter due to 1/2 inch of snow.
Gotta be the North Yorkshire Dales for me. Just love them.
/// I think it would have to be having a limo on call 24/7 ///

Yes, that would be mine too since my driving ban. I'd be quite happy to remain in the UK.
My ideal lifestyle would be to have a boat and a swimming pool. Wouldn't be bothered about a posh house and as long as I can travel (which I can) I would be OK. I would go out of my mind if I had to stay on one place though. I quite like England in the summer
A quirky cottage near the coast with lots of green, wooded walks. Oh, and/or a small but airy Georgian house in Bath or similar.
The idea of going to a busy place full of other holiday-makers is my idea of hell.
I know a few people who are keen on Spain with villas etc. All very nice I suppose, but not for me thanks. I'm a homebird!
