Universal Credit And Children's Tuition
10 Answers
Can anyone help me with this - my grandson (8 years old) has been classed as not reaching the standard in both Maths and English. I seem to remember someone mentioning to me that if his mother was receiving UC she would be able to use her child care allowance on extra tuition - has anyone got any further advice on this
Many thanks in anticipation

Loads of ways to help at home if parents, and grandparents, have time and patience. As previously posted, books available quite cheaply but also nightly story reading, cooking (maths and english with recipes), looking at anything with words like signs and papers. Grandson may just be a late developer anyway. Mention concerns to his teacher when you get the chance.
