When somebody says they need the answer (but nothing else), why doesn't everybody respect that comment? Simply showing-off in most cases.

And the (fourth) best answer goes to gingejbee!
Thanks, ttt x
BHG, had you read it, you would know that, "he" is female
Well we can always ignore questions from people who slate us for trying to be helpful and give an answer that might help others.
I am of the old school who defaults to a male pronoun if the gender is not obvious.
If I'd just gave a wrong answer like 40% with no explanation and I was the only one would I have got best answer?
Also this was posted in CB where I thought we could all join in and go off topic and make comments whatever the poster's wishes.
am i er the only one to notice the best answer doesnt have a 'four' in it - - that is - - is off the point of the question. So she should first be whining at herself as a warm-up

four ! four!
200 is 4% of 5000
// Who says slash means divide? It didn't when I went to school//
yeah foo - of course it does

1/2 is a half - - the / is pronounced yupon - 1 yupon 2
caused chaos. First heard it in the days that you cdnt say - "sir what one earth did you just say?"
Surely going off topic would be asking what is for Sunday dinner?

lankeela will have long lost interest in further answers I imagine and who can blame her? :)
shouldnt pixies 4% at 11.13 be best answer?
not really piggynose 'cos she spoilt in by following up straight after with "I did 200/5000 then ×100 for percentage." when lankeela has stated they just wanted the answer and not how to do it
lankeela, there's a seat over here with the other mathophobes. :-)
