popy seed / heroin?

Is the popy seeds in a lemon and popy mufin the same stuff from wich the drug heroin are made?

There are hundreds of poppy varieties, all of which product optiates to some extent. The opium from which heroin is produced is collected by "milking" unripened seed pods. Once seeds are formed, the opiates have - more or less - disappeared. Some people claim that you can fail a drugs test through excessive poppy seed consumption but the concensus is that you will get full before you get high

Also the poppy for poppy seed production is not an opium poppy. It is a species low in opiates.
