What’s Everyone’s Plans For This Gorgeous Friday ?

Saying as I’m feeling very positive today , what’s your plans for yet another beautiful one?
I’ll likely stay indoors so Lola doesn’t follow me so then we both keep cool, we get the sun in the back nearly all day so the living room is cool, I have a delivery coming of a new tv for the bedroom this morning, meanwhile I’ll prepare a salad and do some bits and bobs around the house

My dad used to retire to the bedroom shortly before 9pm every evening to watch his '9 o'clockers' - dramas - in peace. If he tried watching them with mum, who would always be doing something else while watching - knitting, crosswords, jigsaws, etc - she would always be asking him to recap what was happening.

My planning is just to stay cool indoors and keep calm and drink plenty of water - as advised - which I do anyway! I might wander outside this to feed the roe deer that have come to live in our garden in this drought. Mother deer has a gammy leg so hobbles on three leg and has lived in the wood behind us for a few years and her latest daughter, Bambi, is a joy.

Lovely sunny, breezy 23 here today. Groceries delivered, washing drying on line. Swim in solar heated pool this pm grand kids having friends over. Cats and dogs and horses enjoying the cooler weather.

Yes Pasta. Mum is usually in the orchard. Bambi comes to look at us through the front window and drinks at thr little pond in our front garden as in the photo!

What's 'gorgeous' about 30 plus degrees ?? Too hot to do anything outside, too hot to take the dog for a proper walk. All I want to do is sit in front of the fan in a cool room ! Roll on autumn ....

Lovely deer. I’ve got some beautiful foxes in my garden, but it’s too hot for them to come out in the mornings, now.

For me, I’m staying in. I sunbathed at 6pm yesterday and came in quite dizzy and faint, so I’m not doing that again.

Can't watch tv in bed as I always fell asleep before the programme finished!!

Shirley. I'm laying on the bed with Poppy dog with the fan pointed in my direction. Bedroom is north facing. To be honest, I haven't ventured anywhere downstairs today yet!! I might think about it. But when again I might not. Yes roll on autumn. I hate this weather. I have a thermos of cold water on the bedside table. My breakfast of oat biscuits cheese and Marmite was delivered by my manservant earlier. ;o))
