Disadvantage Of Living In The Countryside

Our road was closed today due to a fire on the common adjacent to the field and wood behind us. I don't feel we are safe. Fire is now hopefully out but road partially closed in case it flares again!! Fire engines out from three areas. We were indoors because of extreme heat and didn't even know until I just read it on local news.

Oh I'll answer to Guess. Too hot for me and today's been reported as the hottest day on record in Ireland.
We have a plumber/tiler working in the bathroom upstairs. It's a dormer so it's really hot. I feel for him but he's doing a fantastic job.

I've not done much other than find the coolest corner with Audible and some knitting. Cooled off now and it's a pleasure to be outside.
