morning, Saturday and the weekend starts here. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today? I am going to meet up with a friend for a coffee later on this afternoon, which will be good.
We’ll leave Lola at my daughters as it’s far too warm for her to walk on those hot pavements , she’s always good when we take her but doesn’t like being under the table so we take her small blanket and she sits on that next to me , she likes to see what’s going on and those in the pub love her , she’s small for her breed anyway
a woman had her little dog with her yesterday, trouble was it barked at every motorcyclist that parked up nearby, what a racket, she eventually took the dog into the pub and it then remained fairly quiet. whilst her owner had her drink and a meal.
am awake early now in part due to the heat here, also i am in the midst of a mouse invasion, they have decided to nest in my flat and they make me jumpy at the best of times.
Morning all, a usual Saturday here in store here - and working later - my, was it warm over there, yesterday but, surprisingly so, the place was reasonably quiet.
Poor emmie. I know exactly what it is like to have an uninvited mouse in the house. It took approx 10 days to eliminate them. I baited the traps with chocolate. They were entering via the cold water pipe in the kitchen. I did not want to harm them but unfortunately there was no alternative. I empathise with your problem.
i tried traps with cheese, the only thing i had to hand, i guess that didn't work so well, i have the council coming round wednesday to see what they can do to eradicate them.
Humid late tomorrow and t-storms predicted for Monday/Tuesday, only 25°C today the max but 29° tomorrow so sounds like it may get quite steamy. I got 32 on my car clock at 1.30pm yesterday going up to my post office.
