Little Things That Make Your Day
26 Answers
Yesterday I spotted a little bee wandering slowly on my patio in the hot sunshine. He didn’t look happy so I put him in the shade on a shallow dish with some water in it. He didn’t move. Dead I thought sadly. But no. He eventually mustered up the energy to have a drink and before long went merrily on his way.
It made my day. :o)

I love them and talk to them as they roost in the tree and I love watching them take food to their nests after having a feed and a drink themselves. It's been several days now, so I know they have moved on to wherever it is they move on to, and I always feel sad. They always make my day, every day.
I remember the first time I tried the sugar water thing on a tired looking bee in my yard. Within seconds of putting a big blob of it in front of the bee, it started drinking and at the same time buzzing away for all it was worth ! I watched in amazement after it had had it's fill and flew up and away to resume it's life. Absolutely lovely.
