I Want To Throw Something At Someone...anyone

There is an "event" down at the local sports centre about 1/4 mile away...and there has been loud...THUMPING...music since about 11am.
I can hear/feel it both at the front and back of my flat...and it is seriously doing my poor old head in. If it's like past events, it may not end until midnight
Is there anything much worse in this heat?

Some people seem to be in permanent grumpy mode.

O-G...I did close the windows, but it was the kind of sound that's felt like an underground train. It vibrates through the walls. Luckily it ended by 9pm.
