Lol, the fatwa was issued because he was caught out and busted on so many issues he had no credible means of response, hence the lash-out.
Looks like a similar pattern but different tactic has occurred today.

As I have said many times before its not the Party faithful you have to appeal to in a General Election it is Middle England. Sir Tony recognised that to his credit and won 3 elections. The Party faithful (of any colour) will vote for their party even if a donkey had the rosette on, but Mondeo man - he is the key.
