What are your suggestions for good sandwiches? I would like to know your ideas for simple ones as well as "gourmet ones" as I would like to try some for my lunchtimes, but do not have a lot of time in the morning to make it. Thanks X

Pastrami, tomato slices and mayo on brown bread...with a bit of black pepper.Very quick..and very tasty!
the best sandwich I ever had - roasted peppers, feta cheese and pesto on granary bread - try it, its fab.
A good quality piece of ham takes some beating. I also like corned beef, sliced tomato and salad cream (not mayonnaise). Or pate with tomato and cucumber.
i love good q ham and tomato with a bit of black pepper, but i slice and take the toms in a sep container and add then add just before eating so the sarnie doesn't go soggy!

egg mayo

Tuna sweetcorn and black olives

Chicken advocado and bacon is another fave, but this tends to be a weekend sarnie to complicated to do at work!
Rye bread with peanut butter and cucumber, with a sprinkling of curry powder...lovely jubbly..(:o)

My favourite is mature cheddar cheese watercress and bitter orange marmalade on granary bread. OOOOH delicious.

Cream cheese,celery and walnuts.
Leftover salmon - broken up and mixed with chopped onion and mayo - then put it in a flour tortilla to make a GREAT wrap for lunch.
Smoked meat , with swiss cheese, mustard and your choice of veggies on rye.

Maybe the night B4 you could try mixing this one up, lasts a few days in the refridgerator:

1 can of flaked ham, relish,
and mayo on soft italian rool
or a french baguatte. Sometimes
I add a couple of chopped black
olives as well.

English cucumber, thinly sliced, on a multigrained bread, with smoked salmon flavored cream cheese and lettuce.
tuna, cucumber, salad cream and ready salted crisps.
Granary bread, mayonaise, baby spinach leaves and roast chicken with a little salt and pepper!!! yum,
butter 2 slices granary bread, then spread a layer of peanut butter on both slices, add sliced mature cheddar then a layer of chunky branston pickle put peanut butter slice on top and squeeze down absolutely delish don,t even ask how many calories even better if put in a sandwich toaster my mrs runs a mile everytime i make one of these little beauties, are my taste buds blown away.
Egg and onion is good. Just mash a boiled egg with mayo and add finely chopped onion. Very tasty.
