We’re going to Bedale tomorrow with the in-laws to see sail’s new great granddaughter ( she has two) so it was double gifts as I couldn’t for just the new arrival

A bit of a hectic start for me tomorrow (it will be my birthday) because it is the date of the village show. We took the sensible entries of veg. (spuds, carrots, toms. and rhubarb) up to the Community Centre this evening, but in the morning I have to do a mad run-around in limited time to pick my floral offerings and the classes are quite complicated.
We are not brilliant gardeners, I hasten to add, but are just 'doing our bit' and joining in to help get everything going again after Covid. I can't see the top prizes of £2 hurtling in our direction!!!
After that, I rush home to primp and then off to drive 20 miles to be treated to lunch by my daughters and grandchildren (it's half-way).
Then a peaceful, full, afternoon sorting out the flowers in church ready for Sunday (I drew the short straw of August for my stint on the rota).
Next good bit for the weekend is that OH is taking me out to lunch on Sunday - so no cooking for a whole weekend!!! Such a luxury. :)

My first plan for the weekend is to repair my wife's glasses which she has just handed to me with a fallen out lens. I really can't deal with it now, 'cos I'm going dodo :0)
