are you ready for summer to be over?

it's been a hot one in the UK this year, recordbreaking heat wave, certainly ready for autumn and halloween and all the cooler weather that comes with it.

As is ours, Naomi. And it amazed me that even during the hottest days, my pantry was cool!

Yes for me I don't like it at all, I'm not long back home from a glass building not too high 3rd floor but the windows don't open (New-ish building but ministry of *** design on that one) It's far too bloomin' hot for me I always much prefer it cooler.

While I don't like too much heat, I'm absolutely dreading the winter...as I do every year. I envy those whose homes are cosy. The upstairs of my flat is an oven in summer and cold in winter. This is even after modern up to date external insulation was applied about 6 years ago, and then a new roof in late 2020. No open fire here :)
