It was just a middling score of THREE out of five for me in the junior quiz though :(
(I really ought to have got the space question right but I just clicked too soon!)

I got the first three answers right with the Timed Teaser but I then had to wait until the final question before improving my score. So that's just FOUR out of ten for me:

So your options are open. You can either do a lot better than me or a lot worse. (You could, of course, just be boringly 'average', like me, too!).
I noticed that he won a Mail on Sunday codeword for £100 - mentioned in his last post. I thought that all I had to do is go to the MOS website and see the names of the winners. Alas the MOS site is huge and I got a little lost. Can you find the details - since you are a Googling genius?
I knew that you would probably come back to this thread so it seemed logical to post this post here.
Googling
'codeword -"code word" site:dailymail.co.uk'
seems to suggest that the online edition of the newspaper doesn't carry the print edition's Codeword competition (and therefore doesn't list its winners). The Google results only seem to refer to the free-to-play online version.
Very well done indeed, Emmie! A near-perfect grown-up, a perfect kid and a decent sprinter too! Fantastic!
Welcome back, Margo - and with some good scores too! Well done!
>>> Garbage, as usual Chris
Yes, I know that I am, 10CS, but there's no need to spell it out! Oh, you mean your scores, do you? Well, at least you're a near-perfect kid this week ;-)
Thanks Chris. Did the quizzes Friday night after returning from one of our local clubs, but wasn't up to entering my scores. Obviously haven't been watching the children's news programs this week, although I have noticed a pattern to the answers over the last couple of weeks. I'll have to see if my theory holds up next week!
Well done with those two decent grown-up scores, Twix!
Hi Sam. I've done quick bit of googling but the winners's names for competitions published in the print editions of magazines are generally not published in the online editions. (That's because those competitions themselves aren't in the online editions). So, regretfully, we seem to be no further forward. Sorry :(
