In a nutshell I have weakness and numbness in my left arm and pins and needles in my left hand. I did think B12 / folate deficiency (I am iron deficient) but taking supplements didn't bring about any relief. I believe now though that it is positional and find the pins and needles and funny sensation in my left arm is worse when lying on my right side or leaning forward in a chair. It's been going on for weeks and weeks and I wonder if it's ever going to go away.

Right.....it I remember correctly, you did have Covid and you have had quite severe long Covid symptoms in which case, you will have to wait and see if these symptoms of which you are now experiencing, improve or not.
Time will tell.
If I have the wrong end of the stick, then please ignore my comments.
I cannot see any point in repeating your B12 although I suppose a FBC may well allay your anxieties.
My other piece of advice is perhaps to consult a Neurologist, although your symptoms would fit in with long Covid.

Sqad, I have had COVID twice and barely had any symptoms to mention.
I did have community-acquired pneumonia in May 2021 and then got hit by the so-called "supercold" in September last year but definitely got off lightly with regard to C-19.
I last had COVID in the early part of this year and my symptoms of pins and needles are probably of 8 weeks' duration at the moment. I cannot therefore correlate the two.
Are you mixing me up with Minty? She has long COVID.

Regarding my email, the other symptoms of fatigue, mood and poor concentration were transient and always coincide with my monthly curse.
The pins and needles have been present for a couple of months now and aren't abating. They are definitely worse depending on what position I am sitting or lying in and there is sometimes pain present in my neck and shoulders.
