Totally sick imo - someone need tearing apart for even thinking of this. It's so damning of society today.

It's totally disrespectful to all that AA Milne stood for and so too to the generations of kids weaned on WtP and his mates in the innocence of the Hundred Acre Woods. Poor kids coming through mow - what's their reaction if they chance on seeing this dross?

Disney need to close down if they aren't going to stamp on this as they still hold the copyright.....

Views?

The Telegraph had the article but here is the indy as it is more accessible to AB

Where there's muck there's brass.

Has it been called a 'reboot'?

Small minds with nowt but profit on the brain.
They only hold copyright for the elements created by them, the rest of the concepts are now in the public realm.

I hope it is a complete disaster at the box office.
I thought Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was rather good. Elizabeth Bennet kicked butt.

Anyway, fans thought the Disney movies were an insult when they were released, and so they were. But copyright doesn't live for ever (though Disney have done their best to make it so, to protect Mickey) and it basically ends after 95 years in the US. British law is different.
'Tis a sad reflection of current life, DTC. Hope it bombs, but I will not hold my breath :(
I think there's a sequel in the works to Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters too

Bloody hell OP, don’t have a thromby, it’s a film - don’t watch it if it’s going to give you the vapours.

if you don’t like it then don’t watch it
Virtually any successful mainstream Hollywood film has had a hardcore pornographic spoof made of it, this has gone on since the 1970's.

In those days, you needed a film crew, a studio, and so on, but with the Internet, any idiot can turn out stuff like this, and will do so, because there is a market for it.

You can't stop it, the only thing you can do is ignore it, and don;t give the idiots the oxygen of publicity.

I'm afraid this is the downside of the wonderful Internet, any idiot has access to it.
Ah yes, andy - who can forget that classic: Shaving Ryan's Privates
Foreskin Gump is another.
Is it a documentary on the Chinese leader ?
There's nothing wrong with 'nice' but some seem intent on spoiling everything. It's not clever.
I am not advocating we bring back a Mary Whitehouse figure however, standards have dropped. Censorship needs to be a little more rigorous. IMHO, social liberalism is out of control.
what good has censorship ever done? if you don’t
like horror films then don’t watch it… it isn’t hard is it.

Winnie the pooh is public domain… creators can do whatever they want with it.
I didn’t know about the sequel to Hansel and Gretel, anything with Gemma Arterton is worth a look and I like their take on it.

But Winnie the Pooh, I’ll give a miss, even though I always thought that piglet is up to something
I don't know if the H&G sequel is being made after all, Arksided, there seems to be a lot of contradictory information.
