Good evening, everyone!
(Or, of course, if you're a latecomer to the thread, good morning, good afternoon or whatever!)

The main quiz seemed to be quite easy this week, so my score of FIVE out of seven probably isn't particularly impressive - but I'd much rather have just two answers wrong than just two answers right ;-)

I also had just two answers wrong in the junior quiz this week but, with only five questions in total, that only leaves me with a middling THREE out of five.

As usual, I rushed into clicking on an answer with one of the Timed Teaser questions, meaning that I failed to score a point on a question that I actually knew the answer to. (It was the last one). So that left me with SIX out of ten this week.

I'm sure that you can do better than me though, can't you?

Well, it's only a few minutes away from the morning, JJ109, so 'Good Morning' to you too!

That's the annoying thing about these quizzes. Just as you think that you've finally got them mastered, they take revenge ;-)
Thanks Chris.
Started quite well:
6/7
Than middling for the next two:
3/5
5/10

Hi Twix.

Well done on being a near-perfect grown-up this week - and on matching my aggregate too ;-)
4/7,3/5,2/10.Nearly as dismal as the week at work and resembling the mess that Magic made of the net curtains ….hope your week has been better!

Ah! I can relax now! My Friday evening's never complete until both Haras2 and Campbellking have regaled me with the latest cat news ;-)

Your first two scores are 'bang in the middle', Campbellking, so they're 'OK'. You just don't seem to be very good at sprinting this week though ;-)

Well done Magic! You're clearly a proper cat ;-)

I hope that (apart from the disaster with net curtains - and who the hell has net curtains these days anyway?) your week has gone well with your short-term feline companions. I also hope that it won't be too long before you get a new life-long friend!
5, 4, 5
5,3,7. Not too bad, inner child missing due to being on school break!
0/7
1/5
6/10

Oops!

The latecomers nearly escaped my notice this week!

Well done with those good, solid scores, Emmie (and on matching my aggregate this week too).

Well done with that impressive 7 on the ever0tricky timed round, Roo - and on sneaking ahead of me by a single point on aggregate too!

A disastrous beginning and middle, Kwillmott, but a good recovery in the sprint event anyway ;-)
4/7 and 2/5. Not good, but I always knew about Last Train To Clarkesville being a protest song. I believe Clarkesville was the departure point for all Vietnam combatants. I didn't know the FBI had a file on them though, although I'm not surprised.
I loved The Monkees when I was at school, meanings behind the lyrics meant nothing.

Oops! Yet more posts that I almost didn't notice! (Sorry!).

Well done on avoiding any disasters this week, 10CS ;-)

I loved The Monkees TV programmes too, Roo!
