So I sit here doing a Morrisons order and type in herrings.

Is there some connection beween Herrings and all the other stuff that I am not aware of!!

And then at the end of the list - John West herrings in tomato sauce!!
You may regret the wording ^^ MissT... ;)
There is Charlie Herring English wine and I think probably Red Herring perfume.

Am I missing something Choux. Have herrings got another meaning?
Hazel, Have they just thrown in some red herrings to confuse!!
Just tried Morrisons online and just the usual herring items
listed. Maybe ads?
are these maybe things you've ordered from Morrisons before?
Question Author
Definitely not ads Hazel. I just tried again. Wish I could photo the page. They are shown as available items you can order.

Never ordered any of them before jno. Loads of stuff. And on the next attempt I got some greeting cards as well.

Oh well I ordered my herrings, so no worries.

They only show things you have ordered before and might have forgotten as you check out. I haven't got that far.
maybe they just have those algorthims like Amazon that say "if you like this, you might like that..."
no can see without membership
They want me to login/register...
don't do it, pasta! Bill Gates will have you just where he wants you!
I've thought of trying Morrison's...and the only way is via delivery as none nearby except for a McColls they took over.
Is there anything they are particularly good for?

Pasta, its the only supermarket we have apart from a small tesco and Lidl and Aldi. So everything we get is from Morrisons or Lidl because we dont like Tesco. I find them quite good, especially for meat as they have a proper meat and fish counter. All the other big supermarkets are miles and miles away. We do a click and collect probably about every 10 days and OH does the Lidls shop. I dont shop in shops any more!!
There's a Morrison's about 2 miles from here. Needing to take 2 buses for the limited amount I can carry puts me off. I'd have the choice of ordering direct from them, or via Amazon for free. But I think the Amazon prices are inflated to cover convenience.
When I've used online ordering in the past it's been primarily Sainsbury's...and a bit of Tesco/ Iceland.
Now were it Tena Men I'd think that Morrisons was watching when you log into AB, MissT.... ;-)
There is definitely something fishy about that
