Is the keeper of the royal writing implement known as his nibs?

Causing a pen and ink was he ? Can't say that I blame him. Stressful time, and he's offered a leaky pen. Should have demanded that heads roll.

He was swearing and everything!
I'd say he's been under rather a bit of stress lately...a messy leaky pen could be a last straw. Imagine ink splatters...or him leaving inky finger prints.
Or ink on his shirt. That would make me shirty.
I felt very sorry for him. The Faceaches where moaning about him reacting to the ink. The poor man has just lost his beloved mother and had to instantly run around the country meeting anyone and everyone. When does he get time to reflect and grieve?
I thought this was about King Charles III having Tattoos!

That's why he should take his own pen, one he can rely on.
The less stress, the better.
the troubloe is he's probably given a royal warrant to the penmaker. Perhaps he will employ a flock of geese in the palace gardens to keep him supplied with quills.
He must have taken his own pen to one of the signings because he put it in his inside jacket pocket.

no - or yes
Prince Albert Victor who really WAS thick, ( so Prince George was educated with him) and Prince George ( later George V) sons of Edw VIII - not an einstein himself
were in the Navy and got matching tattoos

Victoria, who got to hear of it - probably as PAV told her
was NOT amused
No - or Yes I can imagine him not wishing to smudge something like the Accession Document

I imagine they put some old crap down, filled it and didnt test it - - I am the only one I know that still uses a fountain pen
