Been over my son's today, in Haslington (A suburb of Crewe) and could not get a decent telephone reception to Stoke, let alone a video reception which proved impossible...
So how come that NASA spoke (and received) video calls from nearly 1/4 of a million miles away
back in 1969 when man went to the moon?
(long before 1g, 2g, 3g, 4g and now 5g??

If earth can communicate with space all that time ago
Then why (50 yrs later) cannot we communicate a few miles down the road??

In this instance, TORATORATORA was being civil.

I don't know anything about the nuances of modern communication in Cheshire. But I have noticed there's a bit of a forcefield in the area when it comes to people telling you where they live. they'll tell you they live in Weston, or Wistaston, or Shavington, or Haslington, or Alvaston or Nantwich - any alternative name other than owning up that they actually live in Crewe.......
Further to my earlier post, if TORATORATORA made reference to "steam", as in steam tugs = drugs, he was not being civil.

Howevet, my point about your not following your own advice, remains.
