It isn't fair, they should have the same number of questions. It is said the general knowledge round makes it level, but it doesn't seem to. I've been saying this for years, my dad used to and he's been dead 20 years.

However I suppose that it's inevitable that there will be a certain amount of variation in a 'fixed time' (rather than 'fixed number of questions') contest.

Also some questions are longer than others .

So if you get more longer questions then you will get a lesser score .
Unless of course you answer before the question is finished

How could it? That is also time-based.
All questions are supposed to be timed, so that the time factor kicks in with the amount of time taken to answer.
Whether that is the case or not I don't know, but plainly there is more to it than simply the number of questions.

Data analysis has broadened it's intake criteria from what I saw.
