Can anyone advise me,
what is the best dvd/rw to have that is compatible for a laptop ?
when I mean best, the price should also be taken into consideration ?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you want to have a DVD/RW on your laptop you will probably need to buy an external one that plugs into your USB port.
I would think any external USB drive would be compatible with a laptop. There are loads of makes, so you need to search sites like dabs.com and so on.

Note the company who made your laptop may sell one that goes inside your laptop case to replace the existing drive, but it may be expensive.

I have used Lite On in the past with my desktop PC but that burnt itself out, am now using a Sony and im pretty happy with it - the price will differ as it was for my desktop. i am currently using Medion with my laptop, but have not used t to its full capacity just yet.
