I've just seen a brilliant suggestion on FB for getting lazy teenagers to clean their rooms.

Sprinkle some black rice in a hidden corner then tell them it's mice droppings.

It was very effective in the case cited, the guy immediately cleaned up his room, and his teenage sister rushed to clean hers also.

(Tried to re-find it to provide a link but can't locate it - FB seems difficult in that respect)

That's the same way teenagers can get their parents to clean their bedrooms for them. Show any parent mouse dropping and the vacuum will be out and the mouse traps down
