The other day I made a minced beef (real mince Moo, not that artificial chemical enhanced muck) carrots, green beans, peas broccoli etc.. alongside cheesy bit of butter mash, I froze two shepherds pie’s I made afterwards, to me much better to eat when I’m hungry than have a set plan.

I always know what I'm cooking each day. If it was just for me, I'd probably do things different.
Monday, it's pork sausages, Mash, green beans& gravy.
Tuesday, roast chicken, roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots & gravy.
Wed: Spaghetti Bolognese
Thursday, Beef casserole & veg:
Friday, Fish n Chips, peas/ mixed salad.
Saturday, Chicken Curry n rice
Sunday, Fish n chips again :-)

I know! :-)
Always did a roast on a Sunday for years, Baz, but because husband always had football in the afternoon, he said not to bother, as he didn't fancy running around with full stomach. All that time preparing cooking and loads of washing up afterwards, that was fine with me, as well as looking after four children! It was husband's idea to eat later, and something quick and easy. I'm not complaining.. :-)

Maydup. Like you we have very little food waste. Our land has about 8 huge compost bins and all veggie waste raw or cooked goes in one of these with garden waste Initially it goes in a tub under the sink and mixes with kitchen roll, tissues, etc. All paper and cardboardwaste goes to start the Woodburner. Our recycling bin and dustbin never have much in them. All our compost eventually ends up back on the garden. He makes about 3/4 different types of compost.

I think it’s ok as a weekly dinner plan. Pretty much all the meals can contain as much veg as you want, even the grill with baked beans, mushrooms and tomato.
There’s only one takeaway as far as I can see on the list.
Personally it would be too much for me as we tend to alternate our dinners with a very light one in between. And rarely eat meat.
Overall I think it’s ok.
