Prices For Men, Prices For Women

Today, in a certain well-known high street chemists, I was looking at deodorants. The men's and the women's ones ( same brand, same style ) were the same price, but men get 50ml whereas women get only 40ml.
Can anyone imagine how the aforementioned shop might account for this 25 percent price difference ?

Given that things like 'CI 17200' are simply colourings, there seems to be no real difference except for the price. (Forget Head & Shoulders anyway. Supermarket 'own brand' anti-dandruff shampoos are just as good and usually cost a great deal less).

PS: Ive just noticed that the 'men's' shampoo contains caffeine, whereas the 'ordinary' one doesn't. Perhaps it's useful when you've run out of coffee?

Buen LOL. I usually get Tesco's own brand anti dandruff but there was none on the shelves. So i went for the H&S For Men. You know. Real Men. Macho Men. Dynamic Men. etc, etc, etc. :-)

Buenchico But it also works the other way around. For example, Asda often stocks Smart Price roll-on deodorants only in its women's collection, so men who, unlike me, don't walk both aisles should buy at least 1 You have to pay pounds. .
