We are going away with the in laws from the 23rd - 6th January to Lanzarote , sharing a luxury apartment ,I love Christmas and all it has to offer so we’ve decided ( me and OHs sister that is) to buy a gift for one another to open on Christmas Eve for about a £30 spend, I’ve bought my brother in law a leather man-bag, my sister in law a set of three frameless battery operated candles that will match her home decor,for my husband , a new wallet but I bet he still keeps the battered one he currently uses, I need a little something else to go with it.

It's tradition to put coins in a gift of purse or wallet. Just put a few pence in it.

I end up buying books on aircraft, military history and all those exciting things. We could open a library on those subjects. We are looking for a new home and we have to have an extra room for books. Not just his books. He's an avid reader. Sits and reads nearly all night every night.
