On TV past or present that you have found odd, funny, stupid or hideous.
The one thing that I find really odd is when watching a cooking program. You have let's say a well- known or even not so well know putting a dish together in all sorts of fancy ways, adding all the different spices and herbs.
Then after all that work and effort comes the final tasting. Their verdict on many occasions is express their desire for more salt. :0)

regarding stupid, making tv technicians go to the trouble of blurring out a logo on someone's sweatshirt. Who cares? and wouldn't be easier to get them to change their shirt?

Salt is an addictive substance, well known in the catering industry (they call it 'seasoning). It makes everyone thirsty and feeds their addiction to salty stuff. They sell cheap plonk at 15 quid a bottle, so they give away salt to stimulate drink sales. The public forget what food tastes like because they only notice the salt. Mmmmmm salt! I loved crisps, even before they introduced flavoured crisps like cheese and onion and bovril.

18.44 It just makes me laugh with all the trouble they go to with all the best meat different herbs and spices to give this fantastic taste,then they bung more salt in.:0)
