I have just read that electricity companies will give customers money back if they put on their appliances eg washing machine during the night , I wouldn’t go out or go to bed until machine is finished as it’s dangerous and if you live downstairs from someone who has a machine going all night above your head it is rather annoying and keeps you awake .

Absolutely, Jordain. I can understand your frustration! x
just make sure you have plenty of ventilation if you are using LPG cylinders or containers as your fuel.....
I realised recently that the two readings I have are for a day and night rate, as the previous owner of the house had had planning permission for an office in the garage which never happened I had assumed it was for that! I've started putting the washing machine and, if used, the dishwasher on at night, after 11pm.
Just had YET ANOTHER 10 min. cut. All machines wonky again. Thanks for the advice DTC, but a camping gas stove is going in the conservatory as soon as I can organise it and I shall be ordering more camping lamps tomorrow.
Won’t put mine on at night - due to the noise and the fact that it now has a habit of not completing the programme.

It goes on at the weekend during the day - using the solar then.
must check my candle levels!
my washing machine once caught fire when it wasn't even turned on !(it was plugged in though) I wouldnt mind going to bed while it was on though
Just get smoke detectors
