Good evening, all!

It's said that time sees to go faster as one gets older. In that case, given how fast the weeks are flying by for me nowadays, I must be at least 150! (I don't look a day older than 140 though, honestly).

A positive start for me in the main quiz this week, with a score of FIVE out of seven:

Just a bare pass mark for me in the junior quiz though. TWO out of five:https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

It was a bit of a struggle for me in the Timed Teaser too this week, with just FOUR out of ten:

So you'll ALL beat me easily this week, won't you?

:)

Oh yes, the usual magnificent 3!

Oh well, at least you managed to steer clear of any zero scores, Haras2 ;-)

A 51 metre high communications tower? As a radio amateur, I could do with one of those in my back garden!

Me and my three have had the usual sort of week, thank you. That means that Moonbeam has been living outdoors and miaowing pitifully for some fuss whenever I go outside. (There are plenty of places that he could curl up, dry and warm, indoors but he just never seems to want to). Chequers has been spending much of his time curled up in the armchair in my bedroom. (He's a very lazy cat!). Tablo has been sleeping on top of me every night, keeping me awake, and generally driving me up the wall, as usual!

My lot have had the Felix Goody Bag treats but not recently. (I usually wait until they're on special offer). However they're never short of a few treats here. (That reminds me though: I've not bought them any freshly-roasted chicken thighs, from the rotisserie counter in Morrisons, recently. That's what they love best of all, so I'll have to add some to my shopping list for my next visit there).

I hope that you and Shady have a lovely weekend.

"Magnificent three", GG?

Is that a budget remake of 'The Magnificent Seven'? Can I have a part in it? I've got the right amount of hair for the Yul Brynner role!
;-)
I certainly won't! 2/7. 1/5. 2/10.

Oops, Caran!

No zero scores, anyway!

You'll have a good week soon, I feel sure ;-)
Don't know what i've been doing this week but it certainly wasn't keeping up with the news:-(

A Desmond (2/7, 2/5) and a 5/10.
Question Author
Well the 5 ain't too bad anyway, Ken.

Better luck with the gee-gees this weekend ;-)
Oh dear. I don't know why I bother Chris. 4/7 and 2/5. I'm already at the back of the class!
News: 4/7
Speed: 3/10
JNR: 4/5

Space and Football, that's all I know and a bit of music stuff.
Not a good week for me 3,2,3, oh dear.
Question Author
Catching up with the latecomers . . .

Back of the class, 10CS? No way! There are plenty of others closer to that position - and you're only one point behind me!

Al you need then, Arky, is a week full of questions about paying football to music in space ;-)
(All the best people have an aggregate of 11 this week, anyway!)

Erm, better luck next week, Roo!
