Headlight converters for Picasso
Does anyone know where I can find the correct way to mask the headlights on an '06 Citroen Picasso, the clear glass ones, for driving abroad? Citroen want to charge me about 50.00 for convertors and plastic protectors. They don't sell them seperately. I am going in about 3 weeks

Halfords Schmalfords. Do it yourself - cut a football in half, fold each half over itself again, then put into a tray of plaster in paris. When the mold is ready, pour in some liquid aluminium until it sets. Then it simply a case of tetra-bonding them onto your ultra-cradling. Voila! You're all set !!
Well I used them on the clear plastic lens of my car recently in France and my lights didn't melt. They are made by Hella so I'm sure they have been extensively tested. After all they are not placed directly in the line of the beam as the beam faces slightly left in UK cars - they merely take the sting out of the light facing in that direction. After all how hot does a headlight have to get to melt ? If you are driving the car - the wind hitting the cars headlights will surely cool the light down - I've never heard of this happening surely it would be well publicised.
