I have pest control visiting 12-3pm to hopefully proof my flat, in other words, fill in any gaps that the mice have been getting in. Perhaps this will cure the problem once and for all.

today's forecast for the capital is a lowly 18c, with scattered showers.

I’ve asked the husband to send mr the photos as I felt ‘ sneaky ‘ going into theirs online , it’s happened to me before and it felt like a nasty intrusion into my personal life

Thanks ladies, we are delighted with it but the ongoing expense is getting me down. I guess it'll be worth it in the end.

my friends in London have bought a house, cost over 1 million, and it's a mess, it needs so much work that i wondered why they did it. The fact it's Grade 11 listed and they may not get permission to do the work that obviously needs to be done.

Sorry, missed your earlier post, Emmie. Yes she came to stay and took the tummy bug home with her. OH and I later tested positive for COVID. He was really bad with it but I was okay once the tummy symptoms subsided and fasting for 60 hours helped me enormously. My IBS symptoms have been better since.

Bobbi, that was a shocking intrusion into your personal life. Just who the hell do people think they are? x
