Phoned the surgery yesterday to enquire about the third Covid Booster - jabbed this afternoon (the bivalent version) and got a "whilst you're here" flu jab too.

Then mentioned that (after a few months with no problems) my lower back was giving me some serious gyp this week - quick assessment and instant referral for an MRI - should be done within a week or so ...

... what a pity that some on here believe we live in such a backward country ...

I experienced terrific service last year.

After far too many years of playing (poorly, it has to be said) as Tighthead, one of my knees is shot to bits.

Between the GP referral, seeing the consultant, and having surgery was one week. One week.
