Weight loss and change in size
9 Answers
I've recently lost 1st 10lbs but have not changed clothes size at all. I'm still wearing the same size I was before and can't even get the next size down over my bum. I was always under the impression that it equated to about 1 size you lose with every stone (i know it would be slightly different for everyone) but surely I should have changed size just a little by now! Any one know how it really works? It's really p***ing me off. Thanks! :o)

I don't take too much notice of the scales. I think it is better to measure yourself when you start losing weight and once a month after. That way you can see where the weight is going from. I was a size 16. A tight 16 at that. I have lost over 2 and a half stone but I am only in a size 14. A loose 14. Just keep going. As long as you are losing weight, your dress size has to go down.
Thanks for your answers! I suppose if I'm honest with myself I don't really do much excersize so I'm not really toning up at all and my size 16 trousers were probably a bit tight before I started losing weight. I'm kicking myself for not measuring before I started though. I shall just have to percivere (sp). Thanks guys!!!!
