I can't work out what happened to most of the days of this week but, apparently, somehow it's Friday again. So here we go once more . . .

A 'middling' start for me, with a score of FOUR out of seven in the main quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-63303650

The kids' quiz is fairly straightforward this week, meaning that I probably ought to have scored a maximum but I could only manage FOUR out of five:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51318780

In the sprint event, I scored a 'passable' (but still far from 'brilliant) FIVE out of ten:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63279932

So that makes an aggregate score of 13 for me. Easy enough to beat, surely?

Tonight Iam mainly sampling a very nice Plum Porter from Titanic brewery. Very nice so far.

Ruddy 'eck, Tony! You'll be sticking your little finger out when you raise your glass next!
;-)

St Peter's Plum Porter, brewed here in Suffolk and sold in both Sainsbury's and Morrisons, is a nice drop of beer too. https://www.stpetersbrewery.co.uk/products/Plum-Porter-p208337012 . I've also been meaning to try Wickwar's Station Porter (6.1% ABV!), which I've seen in B&M, although it's not on their website: https://untappd.com/b/wickwar-wessex-brewing-co-station-porter/54749

Hi, Sharon! Pass marks throughout, I feel ;-)
Mmmm that Station Porter looks interesting ( powerful , Chris.

News seems to have been a bit of a muddle this week - to me at least :)

Not a good week on the timed quiz, 4, 4 and 3.
4,5, and 5.
Better than most weeks for me.

I think that most people will have found plenty in this week's news that could be classed as 'a bit of a muddle', Kwillmott ;-)

[At least you avoided any disasters, anyway!]

Solid enough scores, anyway, Milo2!

Well done on beating me this week, Sandy!
3/7 thank the lord for the Lowry, only one about which I was
certain though it doesn't look much like Burnden Park!

4/5 found my level

6/10 not bad

I'm nothing if not consistent: 4 this week
Question Author
Well done on matching my aggregate, Zebo!

Stuck in the middle again then, GG ;-)
2/7. 3/5. 3/10. Getting worse!
Question Author
^^^ Are you sure that's possible, Caran?

;-)
Damn Maradona!

7 in the adult one and 4 in the kids - only one wrong was the Maradona one!!!
Question Author
You'll have to brush up on your football knowledge, JJ109 ;-)

Very well done indeed with that maximum 7, anyway, though!
2,3,5 pretty pathetic for me this week, too busy watching baby bison! Dare I say it can only get better?

All 3s and mostly guesses.
All the fours - 444!
Question Author
Hi, Roo. At least you managed to match me in the sprint race. Better luck next week!

Consistent, if nothing else, Tigger ;-)

We'll call you 'droopy drawers' from now on then, Ken ;-)
